JOHN J. BROWNE, JR. (JACK) July 2, 1919 - February 3, 2016 Jack Browne, 96, of Kailua, a veteran of the Army Air corps, died in Kailua. He served in the Pacific in WWll as a navigator. Preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Barbara, and his brothers, Daniel Browne and Fr. Denis Browne and his twin sister, Sr. Joanna Browne. He is survived by his sister, Sr. Catherine Browne, son Denis Browne (Terry), daughters Noni Zukin, Kathleen Browne, Mary Browne-Burris (Tony), Susan Runnells (Tracy), nine grand- children and seven great- grandchildren. Mass of lntentions at St. Anthony's church February 21, 2016 at 11 a.m. Inurnment at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery in Kaneohe. Mahalo nui loa to Dr. Clara Yong and especially to Zafira Anhalt at Kailua Gardens for providing such loving care to Jack in his last years.
