73Hawaii Uota Maiava, 85, of Henderson, Nev., formerly of Laie, a heavy-duty engineer, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Talia; daughters Wilma Kanoa, Shirley Maiava, Moli Tawatao, Misty Scanlan, Kiddie Anderson and Sunepa Maiava-Masoe; brothers Neff and Charles; 32 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
