Maximo Nonies Sr., 91, of Wahiawa, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 38 retiree and an Army veteran, died in Ewa. He was born in Kunia. He is survived by wife Anne; sons Joseph and Maximo Jr.; daughters Juanita and Maxine Wheeler, and Rosalita Dawson; brothers Henry and Lawrence Alejandro; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. March 19 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6 p.m.
