Arthur Akira Kohara, 88, of Honolulu, retired owner of Arthur A. Kohara Inc. and an Army veteran, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Peggy H.; sons Jeffrey K. and Scott S.; daughters Lynne E. Hayashi and Kimberly L. Nakano; brother Roy; sisters Mildred Takabayashi, Marion Iwata, Evelyn Tanouye and Jean Iwamuro; eight grandchildren; and six greatgrandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. April 2 at Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin. Services: 4 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
