74Geronima Ramos Solmerin, 94, of Hilo, a macadamia nut picker for Mauna Loa Macadamia Nut Co., died at home. She was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines. She is survived by sons Samuel, Winston, Joel and Royal Solmerin; daughters Daisy Antonio and Miriam Guerrero; sister Sensya Bugarin; 23 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6 p.m. March 30 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Services: 7 p.m. Visitation: 8 a.m. March 31 at First United Protestant Church in Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Burial at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
