78Mabel Niulani Silva, 82, of Hilo, a retired Hawaiian Airlines secretary, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by sons Rudolph K. Jr. and Dwayne K.; sisters Marie Kelson, Claudia Spillman and Janice Thomas; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. April 3 at Malia Puka o Kalani Catholic Church. Celebration of life: 7 p.m. Mass: 10:30 a.m. April 4 at Malia Puka o Kalani Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire.
