Harry Shigeru Asato, 93, of Honolulu, owner and director of Harry Asato Painting and an Army veteran who served with the 442 Regimental Combat Team, 100th Infantry Battalion, died in Los Angeles. He was born in Pupukea. He is survived by wife Gladys Y., son Glenn S., daughter Cynthia M. Yamauchi, brothers Richard and James, sisters Grace Kimura and Toyoko Fukuhara, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services.
