James Kingsmill, 87, of Honolulu, a retired Army officer and scoutmaster, died in Honolulu. He was born in Philadelphia. He is survived by wife Ellyn; daughters Elizabeth Gruenbaum, Bonnie Oda and Donna Thomas; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Private services. Condolences: oahumortuary.com.
