Harry August Avilla Jr., 76, of Aiea, a retired painter and an Air Force veteran, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Jacqueline Ribellia; sons Albert, Aaron and Ivan; daughter Tammy Tavares; brothers Blaine, Gary, William and Robert; sister Cheryl; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Burial: 10-10:30 a.m. May 10 at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Celebration of life: 11:30 a.m. at Magic Island, picnic area No. 32. Casual attire.
