SHANE PAUL QUIRK STOWELL 34, Jan 6, 1982 - Mar 31, 2016 was a Passionate music lover, animal whisperer, Compassionate friend, brother, lover, and son. Born in Colorado, Shane grew up in Hawai'i with his late father, Clarence Eugene (Gene) Stowell, and his mother Pulelehua Ruth Marie Quirk. Living the life of a cowboy in his youth, he learned the ways of animals, danced, sang, and played music with his dad's band. At Honolulu Waldorf School he immersed himself in music and the arts and participated in land & ocean sports. He graduated Kaiser High School in 2001, and later pursued his love of music at Full Sail University, Orlando Florida, where he founded Quirk Recording Studio in 2009. After completing his MA in Entertainment Business (2010), he moved QRS to Hollywood, California. As a music producer, he loved helping artists fulfill their creative vision. Shane is survived by his mother; aunties, uncles, and cousins; his sweetheart Renae; a worldwide 'ohana of friends and family; his birth family on the mainland; and Ripley the WonderDog. Celebrate Shane's Life at Calvary by the Sea, 5339 Kalanianaole Hwy, Honolulu, HI on May 8. Gather at 3:23pm for Pupus & Story then at 4:22 the Celebration Begins!
