Thomas "Tommy" Akimseu, 80, of Hilo, a retired Hawaii Electric Light Co. inspector and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Beverlyn Z.; sons Jeffrey and Dayson; daughter Donna Weber; sisters Ilima Noeva, Priscilla Kagawa, Luwana Sumiki, Cynthia Moses-Akimseu and Yvonne G. Figueroa; brothers Raymond and Ameil Akimseu, and Earl Akim Seu; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. May 15 at Dodo Mortuary. Services: noon. Casual attire.
