Gaylord Nathaniel Ortiz, 70, of Honolulu, a retired sergeant for the Honolulu Police Department and an Army veteran, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughters Tiffany Powell and Brandy Imakyure; brother Godfrey; sisters Shirley Bicoy, Estrellita Green and Veronica Buck; and seven grandchildren. Private services.
