JOHN TOHRU MATSUNAGA Age 92, of Honolulu, passed away on May 2, 2016. Born in Wailuku, Maui, he was a retired estimator for Deluxe Sheet Metal Co. Preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Sakakihara Matsunaga, he is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Clifford) Terawaki, Marsha (Wendel) Watase and Aimee Ogata; grandchildren, Crissy (Todd) Kawamoto, Dan Terawaki, Staci (Mike) Clute, John Watase, Kimberly Ching, Shelby Ching, Clinton (Dina) Ogata and Jarrett Ogata; great-grandchildren, Danielle Terawaki-Doble and Koby Ogata; brother Wayne (Cynthia) Matsunaga and sister, June Igarashi. Visitation from 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Hosoi Garden Mortuary; service at 6:00 p.m. No flowers. Casual attire.
