Douglas Kazuharu Sonoda, 82, of Honolulu, a retired Architects 2 owner, retired architect for the Facilities Planning & Management Office at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and an Army veteran, died in a private care home in Kailua. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Grace H., sons Michael H. and Keith H., and four grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. June 18 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Service: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
