MANUEL MANNY SYLVA Age 83, of Oregon City, OR, passed away August 14, 2015 in Oregon City, OR. Born January 8, 1932 in Honolulu, HI. For the last few years, Manny and his family lived in Oregon City. While he resided in Hawaii, he enjoyed membership activities with the Waikiki Elks Club as well as the National Guard Retirees Association. He is survived by wife Rosalie Sylva; daughter, Elizabeth Newton; son, Anthony Laul; sisters, Mary (Kahanu) Sylva, Katherine (Kakalina) Valdez of Austin, TX., Janice (Miulan) Yoneda; 3 grandchildren; 8 great- grandchildren. Visitation 10:00 a.m., Saturday (May 28) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel. Memorial service 11:00 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers please.
