TOMIKO TOMI SALZ Tomiko "Tomi" Salz, 87, of Honolulu, owner of Salz Lock & Safe, passed away May 12, 2016. Born in Osaka, Japan to parents Tamijiro Kobayashi and Fushiko Kamemoto. Tomi was always living life to the fullest and she exuded happiness and had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. She is survived by her sons, Max Salz (Liz), Joe Salz (Tina), daughter, Linda Salz-Goto (Frank), grandchildren, Michael Goto, Clarissa Salz, brother, Shozo Kobayashi and two beloved cats, Samantha and Korokoro. Tomi was also a beloved "Calabash" Grandma and Auntie to many. She is preceded in death by spouse, Herm Salz and by son, David Salz. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel. Visitation will be from 9:30AM-10:30AM, with a memorial service and reception to follow on the premises. Interment will be held on June 13, 2016 at 2:00PM at the Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery, Kaneohe Hawaii. Casual Attire. No Flowers.
