E. MARGARET NUNN, 1924-2016 Edwina Margaret Nunn, accomplished pianist, teacher, and loving wife and mother, passed away on February 9, 2016 in Newport Beach, California at the age of 91. Margaret was born in London, England on April 24, 1924. She was raised in Barrowford, near Nelson, Lancashire. At the age of 10, Margaret left home to attend the Skipton School for Girls. She went on to graduate from the University of London, Avery Hill and then studied classical piano at the Royal Academy of Music. In London, Margaret met G. Raymond Nunn and in 1948 they were married. The couple immigrated to the US in 1951, and lived in Ann Arbor, Michigan, until moving to Hawaii in 1961. They travelled extensively in Asia and Europe. Margaret belonged to the Parish of St. Clement's for over 50 years where she served as a lay reader and vestry member. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit, quick wit, and her love for her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her brother Michael Brown, her sister Jill Simpson, her son Michael Nunn, her daughters Pamela Nunn and Lesley Love, eight nieces and nephews, and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1130 am on Friday, June 17, 2016 at St. Clement's Church in Honolulu.
