Gwendellyn Waahiaokalani Yamamoto, 82, of Kapaau, Hawaii, a retired hostess and waitress for various hotels and restaurants, died at home. She was born in Hamakua, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Armstrong Jr., Jason, Douglas and Clayton Sr.; daughters Gwendellyn "Tita" Sanchez, Agnes "Nani" Chung Hee, Milley Lino and Kathleen Caravalho; brother Reynolds N. Kamakawiwoole Jr.; 36 grandchildren; 62 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. June 25 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Aloha attire.
