FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

JON YOSHIO NAGAHIRO
$nameJON YOSHIO NAGAHIRO Jon (resident of Spokane WA) passed away on June 16, 2016. He spent the waning month of his life in Rindge, NH in the loving care of his family. His courage and dignity inspired us all. Jon engaged his interests and responsibilities from a heartfelt place, and an abiding sense of integrity. Jon loved: Snowboarding with extreme style, befriending everyone on the mountain (or anyone he met), impeccable guitar playing, precise billiards, and dead-on long-range target shooting. Jon earned his Eagle Scout in Spokane, WA and was a valuable leader within the troop. He attained a BS in Geology from Eastern Washington University. Our Jon's most fulfilling life-role was that of Adult Training Specialist at Lakeland Village in Medical Lake WA serving Developmentally Disabled Adults. He affectionately referred to his clients as "my folks", and his commitment on the job came from an unshakeable respect and genuine love for them. Jon is survived by his parents James and Alice Nagahiro; his siblings Ann Nagahiro (husband Steve Sattler), Lynn Spendley (husband Frank D. Spendley) and David Nagahiro (wife Ivy Nagahiro); his nephews Conrad Carlson, Frank K., Sean, and Seamus Spendley; and his nieces Sydney and Claire Nagahiro. We love you Jon. Jon's family requests (as Jon would have) that any remembrance be made in the form of a donation to: Lakeland Village Betterment Fund P.O. Box 200 Medical Lake WA 99022-0200.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
