Lawrence Iwanobu Watanabe, 89, of Mililani, a retired Oahu Metal & Supply foreman and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Pali Momi Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Randal N.; daughters Susan K. Barcena, Debbie M. Fontana and Karen T. Watanabe-Sakamoto; brother Thomas K. Watanabe; sister Beatrice F. Correa; and three grandchildren. Private services.
