DAVID WALL FLOOD
$nameDAVID WALL FLOOD Passed away in Honolulu on June 9, 2016. He was born in Honolulu to parents Margaret Wall Flood and Edward Flood. He was the grandson of Chas. J. Wall, architect of Iolani Palace. David moved to Chicago in 1939, graduated from Grinnell College and Duke University, served in the US Army and moved back to Hawaii in 1954. David held jobs at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel, Biltmore Hotel, Hawaiian Village and Bishop Trust. He retired in 1983 after 15 years as a Manager with Dillingham Corporation. David is survived by his two children, Diana Hart and Brian Flood, and four grandchildren, Jovy Hart, Tyler Flood, Adam Flood and Allison Flood. David's lively sense of humor, his hunger for learning and his fondness for movies and music will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.
