Tamio Kawasaki, 80, of Hilo, an Army veteran and a retired Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation park caretaker, died in Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by sisters Setsuko Mann and Tsukiko Komoto. Private services. Donations suggested to Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission or Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home.
