77John L. "Johnny" De Coito, 88, of Waimea, Hawaii, a maintenance worker at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and auto mechanic, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Jonathan; daughters Johnna Kaai De Coito, Johnnelle Chun and Johnnette De Coito-Gali-Sasaoka; hanai daughters Betty Ann and Betty Jean Kaneshiro; sister Delia Cox; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8 a.m. July 22 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial: 2 p.m. at Homelani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
