MARTIN MORENO Martin Moreno age 75 formerly of Mililani and Hilo passed away July 3, 2016 in Ambrosio Guillen State Veterans home in Texas. He is survived by his loving wife Kang H. Moreno, sons Thomas and Joseph, grandchildren Tommy, Kaleo and Keola. He retired from the army in 1983 serving in numerous missions including the Vietnam and Korean war earning medals of service, National Defense Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary, Army commendation medal, Vietnam cross of Gallantry w/Palms, and expert Qualification badge - Marksman Rifle. Upon his retirement he moved to the mainland traveling from state to state visiting family and friends that moved away from the islands, visiting the attractions of each place, and enjoying his love for fishing. Honor services to be held at the National Cemetery of the pacific, Punchbowl Fri, July 29th, 11:30am.
