74Melvyn Toshimi Hayashida, 63, of Kailua-Kona, a bartender at Sam's Hideaway, died in Honolulu. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Karen; daughters Jo-Anne, Koren and Trisha; sister Lynne Sasaki; brother Lorrin; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. July 30 at Kona Hongwanji Mission. Services: 4 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
