Lionel Lihau Kahilihiwa Jr., 68, of Waipahu, a retired Department of Defense crane operator and a Navy veteran who served in the Vietnam War, died in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Linda H.; son Kainoa; daughter Kimberly Madrigal; brother Duane Portlock; sisters Karen Kekahuna, Michelle Portlock and Jade Rossetti; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Aug. 1 at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
