WARREN HIROSHI YAMAMOTO
$nameWARREN HIROSHI YAMAMOTO WARREN HIROSHI YAMAMOTO, 72, passed away peacefully at home on July 24, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born on June 3, 1944 in Aiea to Walter and Janet Yamamoto. Warren graduated from Radford High School in 1962 and achieved a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Northrop Institute of Technology in California. After being honorably discharged from active duty, Warren joined the Hawaii Army National Guard in 1969, and spent the next 35 years working in the airline industry, retiring as the Director of Safety for Hawaiian Airlines and as a Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserves. A fanatical golfer and a world traveler with his beloved wife of 47 glorious years, Lois, he is also survived by daughters Brandy (Marc Arcidiacono), Sherry (Paul Foppe); son Jason (Jennifer); granddaughter Maya Arcidiacono; sisters Charlene McHugh (Gregory) and Robyn Nakamura (Carl). Services will be held on Thursday, August 4 at Mililani Mortuary in Waipio, Mauka Chapel; visitation: 5:30 p.m., services: 6:30 p.m., Aloha attire; Private burial.
