HIDEO HIGA Hideo Higa, age 94, died at home June 28, 2016. Born May 8, 1922, he proudly said that Harry Truman's birthday and V.E. Day were on the same day. Higa served in the 442 Regimental Combat Team, L Company in WW II and was a retired Pepsi Cola Franchise bottler. Higa is survived by brothers Sadao and Yoshio; sons Lester, Robert and Frederic (June); daughter Kathryn (Lance Hansche); granddaughters Michelle Leon-Guerrero (Shawn) and Nicole Kanna; grandson Matthew Higa and great grandson Jackson Leon- Guerrero.
