GEORGE S. MATSUMOTO Age 82, of Honolulu, passed away July 18, 2016 in Honolulu. Born August 24, 1933 in Paauhau, Hawaii. A retired civil engineer with State of Hawaii, Department of Land & Natural Resources and US Army veteran. He is survived by wife, Elaine Matsumoto; sons, Eric (Michele) Matsumoto, Jay (Jennifer) Matsumoto; brothers, Hiroshi (Helen) Matsumoto Donald (Carol) Matsumoto; sisters, Jane Osako, Yoshie Okada, Hideko (James) Miyashiro, Alice (Henry) Nakahodo, Arline Matsumoto; 5 grandchildren. Visitation 9:00 AM Friday August 12 at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, Memorial Service 10:00 AM Committal Service 1:00 PM at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.
