William Toshio "Bill" Tamayei, 83, of Aiea, a retired Hawaiian Telephone Co. central office repairman and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Aiko; sons Daniel T., Reynold K. and Scott M.; daughters Kathlyn L. Marshman, Lisa H. Tamayei and Cheryl N. Niino; brother Henry Y.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation: 10 a.m. Aug. 18 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Inurnment: 10:30 a.m. Sept. 16 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Casual attire. No flowers.
