Samson Simeona, 89, of Waipahu, a heavy-equipment operator and an Army veteran, died in Kapolei. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Rod and Ross, daughters Joyce Mandapat and Iris Sunio, brother Lambert, sister Irene Mivel, nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
