SHIRLEY REGO ELENTO Age 81, of Wahiawa, HI, passed away July 20, 2016 in Wahiawa. Born December 1, 1934 in Waialua, HI. Shirley died peacefully on July 20, 2016 at the age of 81. A teacher, counselor and HSTA leader, she dedicated her life to educating and helping others. She was also a much beloved wife, mother, and "Popo". She is survived by husband, Osmondo "Chester" Elento; children, Anna (David) Elento-Sneed, Richard (Christy) Elento, Thomas (Wendy) Elento; grandchildren, Samantha (Glenn Pendleton) Sneed, Jessica Sneed, Austin Elento, Owyn Elento, Dane Elento, Wade Elento, Egan Elento. Visitation 5:30-9:00 p.m. Thursday (August 18) at the Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; prayer service 6:00 p.m., program 6:30 p.m. Aloha atttire. Flowers welcome.
