ROSITA FRANCISCO Rosita Francisco was taken home to God on July 8, 2016. She passed away peacefully at the Avalon Care Center. She was born on June 3, 1936. She graduated from Kohala High School and Business School. She retired from the Bank of Hawaii, after thirty six years of service. She was a long time volunteer of the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace as a Eucharistic Minister and a collection counter. She was also a parishioner of St Philomena Parish for a while. She is preceded in death by her beloved son Anthony Francisco. She is survived by sister Emma Stacy, brothers Alfredo (Bernardina, also known as Carling) Francisco, Frederico (Alexa) Francisco and Abraham (Aiko) Francisco of Charleston, S C. She also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the wonderful staff at The Plaza at Moanalua, who gave her such wonderful care while she was there. We would also like to thank the staff at Kaiser Hospital and Avalon Care Center. Celebration of life will take place on August 20, 2016 at the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, 1184 Bishop St. Visitation 10:30 AM. Mass at Noon. Validated parking at the Century Square 1188 Bishop Street. Burial 2:15PM. Diamond Head Memorial Park.
