Gilbert G. Abalos, 78, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired truck driver for the T. Kaneshiro Supermarket and an Air Force veteran, died at home. He was born in Honokaa, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Linda and Cindy Andrade, and Judy Arruda; brother Wayne; sister Dolly Best; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 11 a.m. Aug. 27 at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: Noon. Casual attire. No flowers.
