Jerome William DuRuz, 90, of Kailua-Kona, a Navy veteran who served in World War II aboard ship LST 472 and the owner of a jewelry business, died. He was born in St. Louis. He is survived by wife Barbara, son Jerome Jr., daughter Lizabeth Metz, nine grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Celebration of life to be held at a later date.
