81James Anthony Musting, 52, of Kailua-Kona, a carpenter, fisherman and boat captain of the Lectro West, died. He was born in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by wife Bobbie; stepchildren Jerra Crossland, Cody Turner and Dylan Turner; brothers Michael and Alan; sisters Marry Hanna, Karin Hedrick and Joanne Hall; and five grandchildren. Celebration of life: 3-6 p.m. Sept. 4 on the back lawn (by the salt pool) at the Aston Kona by the Sea, 75-6106 Alii Drive, Kailua-Kona. Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to American Cancer Society.
