Duane K. Lee
$nameDUANE KU'UHIAPO LEE Duane Ku'uhiapo Lee passed away August 12, 2016. He was 63. Born February 2, 1953 in Honolulu, Hawaii, he was the son of the late Henry V.L. Lee and Joan L.K. Lee. He graduated from Kamehameha in 1971 and received a degree in Political Science from the University of Puget Sound. For the past 25+ years, he worked in positions involving the auto industry, including time spent as the Vice-President of Christian Family Charities. He was an avid sports fan and long time resident of Auburn, Washington. Duane is survived by his mother, Joan L.K. Lee; children, Kirsten K. and Michael H.K. Lee; brother Rolland K. Lee; sisters Stacia K. Peleholani, Kapuanani Lee and Cheryl M. Kamakea; and seven nieces and nephews. In his final days, he provided support and hope to those who struggled with cancer, as he did. Services 10 a.m. September 10 at Bishop Memorial Chapel, Kamehameha School Kapalama Campus. Visitation from 9 a.m.-10:00 a.m. Private burial. Aloha attire.
