Genaro Louis Perez, 62, of Waianae, a marine machinist supervisor at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 38 and an Army veteran, died in Waianae. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Dee Martinez; sons Jacob and Carlos Perez, and Charlton Tai-Tin; brothers Louis Jr. and Christopher; sisters Evangeline "Bengeline" Dias, Myrtle Gonzales and Gloria Silva-Crawford; and a grandchild. Visitation: 6:30 p.m. Sept. 10 at Diamond Head Seventh-day Adventist Church, 828 18th Ave. Celebration of life: 7 p.m.
