ROBERT SMACKIE LAU Of Sacramento, CA, died of Alzheimer's disease on August 27, 2016, at the age of 93. Born in Honolulu, he was a US Army sergeant during WWII in the South Pacific, and retired in 1985 from McClellan AFB in Sacramento after a long career as a radar technician. He is survived by daughters Patricia Lau, Maureen Walthall, Suzanne Krieger, Denise Lau (Joe Cortopassi), and Leilani Lau; grandchildren Lee Walthall, Mikaela Cortopassi, and Colin Cortopassi; siblings Foo Ki Lau, Ngit Moy Goo, and Esther Wilkerson; and many nieces and nephews. No services were held. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity in his memory.
