Raymond Chiyuki Someda, 93, of Honolulu, a retired foreman for the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Food Science Department and an Army veteran, died in Lunalilo Home. He was born in Pakala, Kauai. He is survived by son Anson S., daughter Shirley A. Maeshiro, two brothers, four sisters, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Private services.
