$nameALICE LEILANI BELL KAMAHELE ALICE LEILANI BELL KAMAHELE Age 89, of Honolulu, HI Passed away peacefully at home on August 21, 2016 in Honolulu. She was surrounded by her family and pet dog Geo. Born October 04, 1926 in Honolulu she was the eldest of six children. She spent her early career as an experimental, first ever female front desk clerk at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. She then moved on to Pan American Airways where she eventually retired. Bored with retirement, she secured a position with the Hawaii State Court Reporters office. After retiring for a second time, she enjoyed many years of socializing with family and friends, walking various city parks, her favorite being Kapiolani Park, and travelling to Las Vegas. It was well known to everyone who knew her that all animals were to be supported and protected, while pets, especially dogs, were to be pampered and spoiled. She was committed to both endeavors, especially the latter. Throughout the years her constant companions were her menagerie of pet dogs and a cat. Alice is survived by her daughters, Andrea, Allene, Adele and grandchild Chloe. Sisters Vivian Luning and Gladys Williams; brothers Walter Bell Jr., Richard "Baby" Bell (Alma), and numerous nieces and nephews. Private services were held at sea where Alice joined her son Art (predeceased 7 years ago) on September 9, 2016, Art's birthday, off Le'ahi light house.

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased
