Daniel Kalani Spencer, 74, of Mililani, a retired Honolulu Police Department officer from the Wahiawa District, a Honolulu Fire Department airport crash crew firefighter and Navy veteran, died in Mililani. He was born in Kohala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Harriet S.; sons Allan Y., Alvin M., Alden K. and Alson A. Hosaka; brother Arthur; sisters Carol Subiono and May M. Napoleon; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Committal services: 10:30 a.m. Oct. 4 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
