CARL MITSUGI ICHINO Carl M. Ichino, 84, of Aiea passed away on September 4, 2016 at home surrounded by friends and family. He was born on September 23, 1931 in Honomu, HI. Carl was a US Army veteran who served during the Korean War. In the early 1960's, Carl joined Herbert K. Horita Realty Inc. as a Sales Associate. In 1974, he helped to open a second office in Waimalu and was appointed Broker-In-Charge. He later became the Principal Broker of the company and oversaw offices in Kalihi, Waimalu, Waikiki, Waipahu, and Maui. Carl retired in 1997. He was loyal and dedicated to Horita Realty for more than 30 years. He is survived by wife, Abbie Ichino; son, Ray Ichino; daughter, Suzette Heely; grandchildren, Ty and Lauren; brother, Roger Ichinotsubo; and sisters, Yoshiko Nishihara and Yuriko Sugioka. Please join family and friends to celebrate the life of Carl M. Ichino. His memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, October 8 at the Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Visitation at 3:00 pm.
