JOHN W. ANDERSON, JR. 79, of Honolulu died on September 25, 2016. He was born in Lihue, Kauai. A graduate of Punahou School and Point Loma University in San Diego, he was with Bank of Hawaii as a senior vice president in the real estate division and later became a financial planner with AXA Advisors, LLC. In addition, he was a consultant to several non-profit agencies. He was president of Waialae Country Club twice. He is survived by his wife, Patti, a son, Brooks Anderson of Honolulu and two daughters, Tammy Morris (Matthew), of Simpsonville, SC, and Erin Rich (Mark) of Charlotte, NC, as well as two grandsons, Jordan Trantham and Skyler Morris.
