Jock Kipiliano Aipoalani 62, of Hilo, died on October 8, 2016 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu, and was a retired Corrections Officer with the State of Hawaii Dept. of Public Safety at the Halawa Correctional Facility on Oahu and the Hawaii Community Correctional Center in Hilo, and was a Veteran of the US Army. He is survived by wife Mercedes Aipoalani; daughters Colleen Ahuna and Juby Aipoalani; brothers John, Joy, Jan Michael, James and Joseph Aipoalani; sister Juby Miller; and 2 grandchildren. Visitation: 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo; Service: 6:00 PM; Visitation on Oahu: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary Makai Chapel; Service: 6:30 PM. Casual attire. No flowers. Leis welcome.
