NICHOLAS JOSEPH NAKOA'O KALANI FREITAS Nicholas Joseph Nakoa'o Kalani Freitas, 21, of Honolulu, died Oct. 9. Born in Honolulu, he was a student at Kapiolani Community College and worked as a merchandiser for a food distributor. He is survived by his parents Stephen A. Freitas Jr. and Kristina M. Mix-Freitas; sisters Alyssa Kehau'o Kalani Freitas, Nicole A. Kaleolani Mix-Freitas (predeceased), Taryn Leialoha Freitas; brother Justin Kekoa Freitas; grandfather John A. Mix Sr. Grandmothers Audrey Reba Mix and Gertrude Kalani Prejean Quinlan predeceased him. He is also survived by godparents Jim and Jane Shannon; loving girlfriend Liandra Kaua Inaura and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Services will be held 9 a.m. Oct. 20, Sacred Heart Church, 1701 Wilder Ave.
