JEAN ONO EMURA 92, peacefully passed away to the strains of "Paoakalani" on November 7, 2016 at Kahala Nui in Honolulu. She was born in Honolulu on July 3, 1924. Devoted teacher and Testing and Guidance Specialist. Jean was preceded in death by her loving husband Edward Emura and sister Flora Masumotoya. Jean is the beloved mother of Steven (Laura) Emura and Ann Emura, cherished sister of Kay Ono, and dearest "Nana" to Kristen (Akaniao) Kozeniewski and Kevin Emura, and two great-grandchildren Kanani and Kaila.
