Jul 4, 1928 - Nov 10, 2016 MewLang passed away peacefully on November 10th surrounded by loving family and friends. Born in Haiku, Maui, Hawaii. She was the daughter of Kim Ah Chow, China and Kealoha'aina Kahalehoe of Haiku, Maui. MewLang was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and friend. MewLang was preceded in death by her husband Oliver and is survived by her children Johanna, Oliver Kaiula (Patty), Vanessa Koski (John), Kehau, and Owens (Sigal); her grandchildren and great grandchildren. After graduating from Maui High she moved to Honolulu, where she met Oliver Pickford, later marrying on August 25, 1951. In 1964 they moved from Honolulu to Seattle where she worked for United Airlines until retiring in the early nineties. MewLang was a woman who believed in family, serving others, and prayer. She enjoyed quilting Hawaiian quilts, listening to Hawaiian music, and dancing the hula. Her home was always open to friends and family.
