92, of Honolulu, passed away on November 7, 2016 at her home. She was born in Kumamoto, Japan. She is survived by daughters, June J. Niizuma, Karen M. Ebesu (Jerry), May K. Takamatsu (Rodney) and Ethel H. Gongob (Jason); brothers, Tetsuji (Judy) and Fukuo (Frances) Ideta; sister, Harumi Yamashiro; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Koichi; daughter, Nancy Kaneshiro; grand- son, Derek M. Sumida; sister, Sachiko Shiraki; brother, Katsuyuki Ideta; and nephew, Shinichi Ideta.
