Octavia is survived by her three sons Glenn, Esmond (Vivian) and Eddie (Pat) and blessed with 8 grandchildren, Kanani, Kekoa, Kapu, Kaipo, Landon, Keenan, Dean, Dara, and Kelly and 8 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Hattie Ahuna (Hank). Elizabeth 8-13-1956 ~ 9-25-2016 Gresham, Oregon resident Liz DeLima died on September 25, 2016 at the age of 60. A memorial mass will be held on December 3, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Academy Chapel. Elizabeth Philberta DeLima was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Edward and Geraldine DeLima. She spent her childhood years living Kailua and Kahaluu and from age 5 to 10 lived in Portland, Oregon. Liz attended high school at Sacred Hearts Academy, graduating in 1974. She then received her Bachelor's Degree from University of Portland in 1978. Liz would eventually volunteer for the American Heart Association, which lead to a career in fundraising and finally as a senior vice president in the Diversity Division of American Heart Association. In 2009, Liz suffered a heart attack on Thanksgiving morning, then 10 days later had a stroke which left her with left side neglect. After 6 1/2 years of struggling with her weakening heart, Liz went to sleep and then joined Christ on September 25, 2016. Survivors include; mother, Geraldine DeLima; brothers, Leslie, Edward, David and Christopher; sister, Cathy; 7 nephews, 6 nieces, 1 great niece and many, many cousins and friends.

Marcia Ann DeutchMarcia Ann Deutch, 78, of The Villages, Florida, passed away on November 11th. A native of National City, CA, Marcia moved to Florida from Honolulu, Hawaii in July of 2015. She was a 1956 graduate of San Diego State College and earned her Master's Degree from Central Michigan University. She was an Adlerian Family Counselor and dedicated her time and efforts to the Family Education Centers of Hawaii. She also was an active member of the Vegetarian Society of Honolulu. She was a loving wife and mother, and leaves behind to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Dr. James A. Deutch (LtCol, USAF Ret.), originally from San Diego, and currently a resident of The Villages; daughter Frances A. Deutch, PhD, Colonel, USAF; son James E. He was born February 7, 1945 in Ellwood City, PA, received his BA in Physics from Columbia University and PhD in Physics from Northwestern University. In his career, he applied his creative genius to research and teaching. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, traveling, hiking, writing, inventing, building astonishing structures and solving puzzles of all kinds, from crosswords to the mysteries of the universe.
